The goal was to capture the sun’s golden glow filtering through the falling water—a fleeting moment that required patience and a bit of luck. The path behind the waterfall was slick with mist, every step a careful balance between keeping my footing and positioning the tripod just right. My gear was wrapped in a rain cover, yet every few moments, I had to wipe the lens clear of water droplets.
And then, the perfect moment arrived. The clouds parted just enough, allowing the setting sun to paint the mist in gold. For a few seconds, light and water danced together, creating a luminous curtain that felt almost otherworldly. This image captures that fleeting harmony—a hidden beauty only revealed to those willing to chase the light.
